Director/Senior Director - Commercialization
Hybrid - Greater Los Angeles Area
150 - 170k base, uncapped commission
50% travel
This biotech, based out of southern California, offers research tools and services in the microbiology field. The director/senior director will drive commercial efforts (business development, sales, marketing) for their products and services. This role has no initial direct reports but allows for the director to build and manage teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive commercial strategies, including market analysis, revenue target implementation, product portfolio management
- Lead a cross-functional team and build out Microbiome sales unit as needed
- Direct creation of content for KOLs, marketing personnel
- Identify and execute business development opportunities
- Define and measure KPIs for commercialization progress
Requirements:
- Must have prior BD experience focusing on Microbiome, NGS services, RNA
- Must have sold technical items and services
- Bachelors and/or Master's Degree in life sciences or business
- 7+ years commercial experience
- Experience managing/growing teams
