Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support our organization's ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments: Plan, design, and perform experiments to investigate molecular mechanisms and processes in cells. This may involve techniques such as DNA and RNA extraction, PCR, gene cloning, protein purification, and gene expression analysis.
- Data analysis and interpretation: Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical methods and bioinformatics tools. Interpret results and draw meaningful conclusions to contribute to scientific knowledge.
- Collaboration and teamwork: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including biochemists, geneticists, and cell biologists to address complex research questions and contribute to collaborative research projects.
- Scientific communication: Present research findings at relevant conferences, seminars, and meetings. Contribute to scientific publications by writing research articles, manuscripts, and grant proposals.
- Laboratory management and safety: Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Train and supervise junior researchers or laboratory assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industry work experience.
- A Ph.D. or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, related field - preferred.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in molecular biology techniques, including DNA and RNA analysis, gene expression analysis, and protein analysis.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software tools relevant to molecular biology research.
- Experience in data analysis and bioinformatics - highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting and collaboration.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced research environment.
