My key client in the TIC industry is looking for a highly skilled testing engineer to join their expanding European team as a 'Lead Test Engineer' with management responsibilities. They are looking for a confident individual with strong leadership skills and a resilient personality to carry out objective testing of equipment & products in line with the relevant standards and time project requirements.

You would be working as part of a diverse international team, in state-of-the-art testing labs, in a role that enables you to have a tangible impact on the safe functioning of products used for essential medical procedures for patients worldwide.
Key responsibilities:
- Independently performing testing of medical products/equipment according to relevant safety standards and regulations
- Preparing test plans, reports and outlining methods/processes for testing for Electrical Safety and liaising with Safety Head on the same
- Reviewing accuracy of customer material in line with required standards
- Sustaining & assessing internal inventories for Electrical Safety, and ensuring testing/measuring equipment is maintained effectively
- Co-ordinating with relevant internal teams for customer service projects and communicating with customers for applicable measurement outcomes
- Training less experienced safety & testing technicians/engineers
- Conducting duties in accordance with Ethics Committee standards and specified national/international safety guidelines, familiar with QMM 1
- Managing team members within Safety Department and supporting Heads of Safety Testing Lab
Key requirements:
- Educational background in a relevant technical field such as Electrical engineering, Electronics or Measurement technology
- At least 10 years of experience working in the industry
- Strong experience in electrical safety/testing according to ISO/IEC 17025 (or equivalent) and proven ability to autonomously carry out testing across a minimum of 3 categories
- Previous experience training/managing junior test engineers or technicians
- Familiar with legal & technical requirements for electrical & electronic products in electrical safety; solid computer/operating system skills
- Avid team leader, efficient multi-tasker and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent German and English
