An exciting clinical-stage Biotechnology company with a growing oncology portfolio is looking for an experienced Business Development and Marketing professional to lead their commercial team. The Director of Commercial Strategy will play an instrumental role in the eventual launch of the brand's top products by leading pipeline asset valuation, strategic marketing insights, and cross-functional collaboration with the clinical operations team.
This is a growth hire due to the rapid advancements of the company's pipeline as they prepare for commercialization. This individual will work on both marketing and business development initiatives to generate commercial insights pertaining to the oncology marketplace.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage the brand's portfolio of assets through the analysis and implementation of market-focused commercial strategies.
- Generate insights pertaining to market segmentation in the oncology market.
- Collaborate with preclinical and clinical teams by providing commercial insights including competitive intelligence.
- Provide forecasting and market alignment expertise for financial analysis.
- Drive corporate development through the execution of out-licensing deals and the formation of strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
- 5 years in Pharma/Biotech industry.
- Detailed oncology experience.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, or MSc).
- Detailed expertise in oncology drug development, market segmentation, marketing, market research, and forecasting.
- Detailed experience in corporate development and asset valuation.
