An innovative Biopharmaceutical company, who is focused on the development and distribution of therapies focused on devastating and rare diseases, is looking for an Epidemiology Biostatistician to support the development, coordination, and execution of effective and impactful research for rare disease at a global level. The Epidemiology Biostatistician will work closely with Director-level management to improve understanding for clinical programs and drug safety evaluations. The company's pipeline features Preclinical to Phase III candidates aimed at preventing Hematologic, Autoimmune, and Neurologic diseases. In February 2021, one of its leading inhibitor products was given accelerated approval in Japan to target the rare Guillain-Barre Syndrome. They have a corporate social responsibility to solve challenges and advance communities to better following generations through advanced Scientific research.
Responsibilities
- Perform systematic identification and written critical evaluation of epidemiological literature
- Prepare statistical analysis plans, such as draft table shells or prepare code lists
- Plan and execute analyses using available data sources
- Summarize results obtained in written reports and oral presentations
- Support the planning and execution of epidemiology activities for regulatory requests
Qualifications
- Master's (MPH/MSc) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Strong working knowledge conducting analyses with software such as SAS or Stata
- Good understanding of Epidemiology and Biostatistics technical methods
- Knowledge of drug and clinical processes
This is remote opportunity that begins on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extensions
