Job opportunity with a top biopharmaceutical company that is looking for an Engineering Project Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract with a possibility for conversion or extension!
Pay Rate: $45-$50/hr
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation/Automation Engineering, or a related field of study
- Min 5 years of related job experience (Engineering Design, Projects & Construction) required
- Experience in project engineering, management, planning, and scheduling
- Experience in technical project documentation and standards (e.g. PMP templates, QC Checks, Commissioning, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.)
- Experience performing engineering drafting, design, computations, reports, and analysis
- Experience with engineering standards (local, national, international, organizational related)
- Familiarity with applicable laws, gov't agencies, and local regulations is required
- Experience using project planning/task management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Monday, Asana, etc.)
- Experience in AutoCAD/Revit/Solidworks drawings and standards
Job Description/Skills:
- Project/engineering planning and scheduling
- Management of project timeline and budget
- Perform engineering drafting and reviews in collaboration with project team
- Ensure all actions are carried out in accordance with applicable legal entities and government agencies
- Maintain strong collaborative partnerships through all project cycles with project team, designers, contractors, vendors and stakeholders
- Responsible for equipment / machinery sourcing (review, analysis and selection)
- Develop safety programs in collaboration with project team
- Prepare and document project & engineering standards
- Create and maintain document control & numbering systems for all relevant documents, drawings, protocols, reports, etc.
- Required travel is estimated at 20% - 30%
