I'm working with a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company. They are looking to bring in an Analytical Chemist I on a contract-to-hire basis. Please find the details of the role below.
Contract Length: 12 month contract-to-hire
The Analytical Chemist I will be responsible for:
Providing laboratory assistance and analytical support in the support of research, development, and manufacturing activities.
Maintaining laboratory apparatus, equipment, and supplies.
Assisting, with adequate supervision, in the testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products.
The Analytical Chemist I should have the following qualifications:
Preferred - possesses an understanding and hands-on experience in IVRT studies (In Vitro Release Testing-Franz cell type set up) drug release testing and data interpretation for pharmaceutical application. (These include method development and the validation to support in vitro release rate studies for topical formulations, such as creams, lotions, ointments, gels for product development.)
Experience with wet chemistry
Chromatography (HPLC and GC)
Knowledge of pH, Karl Fischer titration, and the mole standard
