Key Account Manager - Biosimilars

We are currently working with a leading biopharmaceutical company looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to join their Biosimilars team in Austria. This is an exciting opportunity to drive commercial success in a dynamic and rapidly growing firm.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing account plans to drive biosimilar adoption across key hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in Austria
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, payers, and procurement teams
  • Leading tender management and pricing negotiations in alignment with market access strategies
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with medical, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure aligned customer engagement
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards in promotional activities

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management, ideally within biosimilars or specialty care
  • Strong understanding of the Austrian healthcare system, reimbursement pathways, and hospital procurement processes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German and English required
  • Self-driven, strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset
