Job Title: Account Manager - DACH Region (Pathology & Oncology)

Location: Berlin or Remote (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Department: Commercial / Sales
Reports to: Regional Sales Director - EMEA
Travel: Up to 50%

Role Summary:

As Account Manager for the DACH region, you will be responsible for driving commercial success across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and support the adoption of our advanced diagnostic and oncology solutions in clinical and research settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    • Identify and engage new customers in hospitals, pathology labs, oncology centers, and academic institutions.
    • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Account Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, lab directors, and procurement teams.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive support and follow-up.
  • Market Intelligence

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in the DACH region.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory, and Technical Support to deliver integrated solutions.
    • Support product launches and educational initiatives in the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management within the biotech, diagnostics, or healthcare industry.
  • Proven success in oncology, pathology, or molecular diagnostics.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare systems and reimbursement landscape in the DACH region.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus.
