Key Account Manager - Biosimilars
We are currently working with a leading biopharmaceutical company looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to join their Biosimilars team in Austria. This is an exciting opportunity to drive commercial success in a dynamic and rapidly growing firm.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing account plans to drive biosimilar adoption across key hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers in Austria
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, payers, and procurement teams
- Leading tender management and pricing negotiations in alignment with market access strategies
- Collaborating cross-functionally with medical, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure aligned customer engagement
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards in promotional activities
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences, business, or a related field
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management, ideally within biosimilars or specialty care
- Strong understanding of the Austrian healthcare system, reimbursement pathways, and hospital procurement processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent German and English required
- Self-driven, strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset
