Position Overview
We're seeking a dynamic professional to support strategic sales initiatives, drive operational excellence, and foster cross-functional collaboration across our medical communications teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with senior leaders, and is passionate about building client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Strategic Engagement
- Partner with senior sales executives to enhance client engagement strategies through active participation in meetings, pitches, and planning sessions.
- Prepare comprehensive client and therapeutic area profiles by leveraging internal platforms and market intelligence to support informed prospecting.
- Join prospect discussions to capture insights, summarise key takeaways, and ensure timely execution of follow-up actions.
- Maintain deal momentum by managing next steps and coordinating communications, enabling senior leaders to focus on closing opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of persuasive proposals, SOWs, and client-facing presentations that highlight our competitive edge.
Lead Generation & Market Outreach
- Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences to cultivate new relationships and expand our lead pipeline.
- Support targeted marketing campaigns aimed at attracting prospective clients and increasing brand visibility.
Operational Excellence & CRM Stewardship
- Ensure CRM platforms are consistently updated to reflect accurate pipeline data and support strategic decision-making.
- Track performance indicators and generate regular reports to inform leadership and guide sales strategy.
- Uphold data integrity across opportunity management work flows to enable reliable forecasting and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Growth Initiatives
- Facilitate integrated client solutions by identifying cross-sell opportunities between internal teams and partner organisations.
- Collaborate with account and delivery teams to align on shared goals and deliver seamless client experiences.
- Monitor and report on collaborative efforts to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or client engagement roles.
- Minimum of 2 years working within a Medical Communications agency environment.
- Strong command of CRM tools (Sales force or equivalent).
- Exceptional organisational and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively across teams.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals.
