Sales Manager Specialty Chemicals

We are seeking a commercially driven and technically grounded professional to lead growth initiatives in the specialty raw materials and performance additives sector across Germany and Austria. This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset and a passion for building long-term partnerships in industrial and manufacturing markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the sales strategy across Germany and Austria for specialty raw materials and additives
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial applications such as coatings, plastics, and construction
  • Manage key accounts and foster long-term customer relationships
  • Collaborate with technical and supply chain teams to align product offerings with customer needs
  • Conduct market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and innovation scouting
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, technical conferences, and customer workshops
  • Monitor and respond to regulatory developments affecting raw materials and chemical formulations

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within specialty raw materials, additives, or industrial chemicals
  • Strong understanding of technical applications and formulation requirements
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and build long-term partnerships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Germany and Austria
