Job Title: Account Manager

Location: Tokyo/Osaka

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Account Manager to join our client in Tokyo/Osaka. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or account management within the life sciences/medical device industry. Prior experience in managing life sciences reagent related products wouls also be a plus for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify business opportunities within new and existing accounts
  • Develop business plans with key accounts and maintain strong business relationships with the customers
  • Understand customers' needs and provide necessary support promptly
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting company products and solutions to key customers across Japan
  • Responsible for sales planning, forecasting and driving sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives
  • Share market intelligence with the local sales team to increase sales effectiveness
  • Participate and support in local sales & marketing events, seminars, conferences and projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology, Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology or related studies
  • Sales experience in Molecular Biology products is an advantage
  • Prior lab experience is an advantage
  • Good understanding of the R&D sector in Japan is an advantage
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (business level)
