Medical Manager

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Program Delivery

• Support execution of global clinical strategy
• Provide medical oversight across programs, ensuring quality and timelines
• Communicate risks, progress, and insights to senior stakeholders
• Drive cross-functional collaboration

Medical Oversight

• Lead protocol development using Quality by Design
• Provide medical monitoring across studies
• Develop Medical Monitoring Plans
• Support CRF design and clinical documentation
• Analyse clinical and safety data
• Contribute to CSRs

Site & External Engagement

• Build relationships with investigators and KOLs
• Support investigator meetings and site interactions
• Act as medical contact for sites and study teams

Compliance & Safety

• Provide pharmacovigilance input
• Ensure ICH GCP and regulatory compliance
• Support audits, inspections, and inspection readiness

Innovation & Improvement

• Drive process improvements and trial modernisation
• Support digital initiatives and operational efficiency
• Contribute to SOPs and clinical strategy

Leadership

• Provide internal training on therapeutic area
• Support scientific communications
• Represent the organisation externally

Requirements

• MD or equivalent
• Experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP
• Clinical trial and medical monitoring exposure
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced biotech environment
• UK working rights required
