Medical Manager
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Program Delivery
- Support execution of global clinical strategy
- Provide medical oversight across programs, ensuring quality and timelines
- Communicate risks, progress, and insights to senior stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional collaboration
Medical Oversight
- Lead protocol development using Quality by Design
- Provide medical monitoring across studies
- Develop Medical Monitoring Plans
- Support CRF design and clinical documentation
- Analyse clinical and safety data
- Contribute to CSRs
Site & External Engagement
- Build relationships with investigators and KOLs
- Support investigator meetings and site interactions
- Act as medical contact for sites and study teams
Compliance & Safety
- Provide pharmacovigilance input
- Ensure ICH GCP and regulatory compliance
- Support audits, inspections, and inspection readiness
Innovation & Improvement
- Drive process improvements and trial modernisation
- Support digital initiatives and operational efficiency
- Contribute to SOPs and clinical strategy
Leadership
- Provide internal training on therapeutic area
- Support scientific communications
- Represent the organisation externally
Requirements
- MD or equivalent
- Experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development
- Strong knowledge of ICH GCP
- Clinical trial and medical monitoring exposure
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced biotech environment
- UK working rights required
