Position Summary:
The Vice President of Marketing will lead the global marketing strategy for a cutting-edge cardiovascular medical device company. This executive will be responsible for driving brand growth, product positioning, market development, and commercial success across global markets. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cardiovascular healthcare, a strong track record of launching innovative medical technologies, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with corporate goals and clinical innovation.
- Lead global product launches, go-to-market strategies, and lifecycle management for the cardiovascular portfolio.
- Identify and prioritize market opportunities based on clinical needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory pathways.
Brand & Product Marketing
- Oversee brand development, messaging, and positioning to differentiate in a competitive cardiovascular market.
- Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, and Regulatory teams to translate complex science into compelling value propositions.
- Drive content strategy, digital marketing, and thought leadership campaigns targeting clinicians, payers, and patients.
Market Development & Commercial Enablement
- Partner with Sales and Market Access teams to develop tools, training, and strategies that accelerate adoption.
- Lead market segmentation, pricing strategy, and customer insights initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global marketing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in the medical device or life sciences industry.
- Deep knowledge of the cardiovascular space, including clinical workflows, reimbursement, and regulatory dynamics.
- Proven success in launching Class II/III medical devices globally.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
