Head of Sales

Our client if s a leading global supplier of generic APIs for human and animal health who is looking for a Head of Sales to grow the market in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets.
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities based on market analysis.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Work with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with sales policies and regulations.
  • Manage key accounts and major deals.
  • Represent the company at industry events to promote brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the API market
  • Proven experience in sales management, business development, or a senior sales leadership role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
