The Role

You will also lead and mentor a small, high-performing business development team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the European nutraceuticals market.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, distribution channels, and joint ventures.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small team of professionals to drive revenue across Europe.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform product positioning and expansion plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align product development with market demand.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Monitor regulatory trends and ensure compliance across all markets.

Requirements

• Proven track record in business development within the nutraceuticals, functional foods, or health supplements industry.
• Experience leading and developing small teams with a hands-on, supportive leadership style.
• Strong network across European markets, including distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.
• Deep understanding of EU regulatory frameworks for nutraceuticals.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Based in Germany - willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
