Associate Director, Brand Marketing

Location: San Francisco, CA (3 days on-site)

A rare disease, Specialty Pharmaceutical company with a successful launch is seeking an experienced Patient Marketing individual to join their organization. This position will be crucial in developing and executing marketing strategies to target patient populations, driving education and awareness while keeping overall brand objectives in mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead critical initiatives in patient brand strategy, providing key input on planning items across all patient activities.
  • Lead the creation and execution of branded and unbranded patient promotional tactics.
  • Assess changes in market dynamics and leverage market research insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Strong cross functional collaboration with patient advocacy, patient services, and medical affairs teams.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ Years Pharmaceutical Industry experience required
  • 2+ years Pharmaceutical Marketing experience required (Brand, Patient, or HCP experience preferred)
  • Rare Disease or Cardiovascular therapeutic experience preferred
  • Patient advocacy experience relaying complex science to patient audiences to educate and inform relevant populations
  • Proven ability to create and implement multi-dimensional marketing plans
  • Excellent communicator with a self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams/levels within the organization while exhibiting strong leadership skills
