Job Advertisement: Sales Manager - Critical Care

Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in hospitals and healthcare institutions.
  • Engage directly with clinicians, nurses, doctors, biomedical engineers, and procurement stakeholders to understand clinical and operational needs.
  • Provide product presentations and sales demonstrations tailored to user groups.
  • Identify new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and projects to expand market penetration.
  • Manage local tenders end-to-end, including specification reviews, proposal preparation, submission, and handling tender clarifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop compliant and competitive tender offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and supply chain partners to support product availability and project execution.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customer accounts while developing new ones.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial enquiries and sales matters.
  • Provide regular customer engagement updates, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting to management.
  • Work closely with IT/ICT teams, Application Specialists, and Service Engineers to deliver integrated solutions to customers.
  • Ensure smooth project delivery, installation coordination, and customer acceptance milestones.
  • Support end-user product familiarization where needed (non-clinical aspects only).
  • Support field marketing activities, including exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, and product promotions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform commercial strategies.
  • Provide structured market feedback to the Regional Commercial Manager and regional product teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in medical equipment sales, with strong exposure to hospital environments.
  • Prior experience handling tenders, vendor coordination, and hospital procurement processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
