Role Overview
The Senior Director of HCP Marketing will lead U.S. strategy for engaging and educating healthcare professionals across a complex neuropsychiatry landscape. This leader will shape strategy, oversee both branded and disease education initiatives, manage a high performing team, and guide long term planning that expands awareness and appropriate use of a novel therapy. The role collaborates closely with cross functional partners and an alliance organization and plays a central part in the continued growth of the franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the national HCP marketing strategy including campaign direction, message development, and customer experience approaches tailored to clinical workflows.
- Manage and develop the HCP marketing team responsible for promotional work and disease education tied to postpartum mental health.
- Lead multi year planning that strengthens provider education, drives activation, and supports market development in an emerging treatment area.
- Partner across medical, field, access, analytics, operations, and brand leadership to deliver an integrated commercialization approach.
- Work closely with the alliance partner to align on strategic priorities and ensure coordinated execution of shared growth plans.
- Monitor competitive and market dynamics and recommend refinements to strategy as the landscape evolves.
- Oversee HCP media strategy, content development, and management of a large promotional budget.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
- At least 12 years in commercial biopharma and a minimum of 8 years in marketing or marketing adjacent roles. Launch experience required.
- Experience in complex or emerging therapeutic categories. Background in psychiatry, neuroscience, women's health, or immunology is a plus.
- Demonstrated success creating omnichannel HCP strategies informed by insights and analytics.
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and guiding cross functional work.
- Ability to travel up to 25 percent.
