The Opportunity

A growing diagnostics organisation is looking to appoint a commercially driven Territory Sales Representative to expand its footprint across Switzerland. This role focuses on accelerating adoption of advanced molecular diagnostic solutions within hospital and clinical laboratory settings.

You'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and positioning innovative testing platforms in a highly competitive market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and grow a defined Swiss territory, delivering against revenue and profitability targets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within hospitals, private labs, and reference centres
  • Build and leverage a strong clinical network across Switzerland (lab heads, clinicians, procurement, KOLs)
  • Position and demonstrate molecular diagnostic systems, clearly articulating clinical and economic value
  • Develop account strategies and long-term partnership plans with key stakeholders
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategy
  • Prepare commercial proposals, forecasts, and territory plans aligned with leadership expectations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, applications, service, and regulatory teams
  • Support product implementation, including onboarding, training, and ongoing customer engagement
  • Represent the business at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings

What They're Looking For

Must-have experience:

  • Proven sales track record within IVD / diagnostics (essential)
  • Strong experience selling into clinical labs or hospital environments
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, consultative sales cycles

Network:

  • Established relationships within the Swiss clinical and laboratory ecosystem
  • Ability to open doors and influence key decision-makers

Education & technical background:

  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, or similar
  • Solid understanding of molecular diagnostics workflows (PCR, NAT, etc.)
  • Previous hands-on lab exposure is highly advantageous

Skills & profile:

  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and closing ability
  • Confident communicating both technical and business value to diverse audiences
  • Structured, data-driven approach to territory planning
  • Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role
