Territory Sales Representative
The Opportunity
A growing diagnostics organisation is looking to appoint a commercially driven Territory Sales Representative to expand its footprint across Switzerland. This role focuses on accelerating adoption of advanced molecular diagnostic solutions within hospital and clinical laboratory settings.
You'll play a key role in driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and positioning innovative testing platforms in a highly competitive market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and grow a defined Swiss territory, delivering against revenue and profitability targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within hospitals, private labs, and reference centres
- Build and leverage a strong clinical network across Switzerland (lab heads, clinicians, procurement, KOLs)
- Position and demonstrate molecular diagnostic systems, clearly articulating clinical and economic value
- Develop account strategies and long-term partnership plans with key stakeholders
- Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to inform go-to-market strategy
- Prepare commercial proposals, forecasts, and territory plans aligned with leadership expectations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, applications, service, and regulatory teams
- Support product implementation, including onboarding, training, and ongoing customer engagement
- Represent the business at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings
What They're Looking For
Must-have experience:
- Proven sales track record within IVD / diagnostics (essential)
- Strong experience selling into clinical labs or hospital environments
- Demonstrated success managing complex, consultative sales cycles
Network:
- Established relationships within the Swiss clinical and laboratory ecosystem
- Ability to open doors and influence key decision-makers
Education & technical background:
- Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, or similar
- Solid understanding of molecular diagnostics workflows (PCR, NAT, etc.)
- Previous hands-on lab exposure is highly advantageous
Skills & profile:
- Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and closing ability
- Confident communicating both technical and business value to diverse audiences
- Structured, data-driven approach to territory planning
- Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role
