A Growing Pharmaceutical Company is seeking an experienced Senior Oncology Sales Specialist to support the continued growth of its solid tumor oncology portfolio in Manhattan. This role is designed for a seasoned oncology professional who values scientific exchange, long-term partnerships, and meaningful impact on patient care. The Senior Oncology Sales Specialist will serve as a trusted, knowledgeable partner to oncology stakeholders across academic and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoughtfully implement brand and account strategies to drive appropriate utilization of solid tumor therapies
  • Engage in high-quality, ethical scientific exchange with oncologists, hematologists-oncologists, and advanced practice providers
  • Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders across hospitals, cancer centers, and large oncology practices
  • Translate complex clinical data into clear, relevant discussions tailored to individual customer needs
  • Develop and execute comprehensive territory plans informed by patient pathways, institutional dynamics, and local treatment patterns
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Market Access, Medical Affairs, Nurse Educators, and Commercial Leadership
  • Support product launches and lifecycle initiatives through disciplined account planning and execution
  • Navigate access, reimbursement, and formulary environments to support timely and appropriate patient access
  • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards, prioritizing integrity in every interaction

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years of oncology pharmaceutical sales experience, with a strong focus on solid tumors
  • Demonstrated success engaging complex oncology decision-makers in both academic and community settings
  • Strong understanding of solid tumor disease states, treatment paradigms, and evolving standards of care
  • Proven ability to communicate clinical and scientific information with credibility and clarity
  • Experience working within matrixed organizations and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Strategic, disciplined, and patient-focused approach to commercial execution
  • Resides within or near Manhattan; able to travel locally within the territory

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting products in solid tumor indications such as GI, GU, lung, breast, or rare cancers
  • Prior involvement with oncology product launches or expansion into new indications
  • Familiarity with institutional selling, pathway inclusion, and value-based oncology care
  • Understanding of buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy distribution, and oncology reimbursement dynamics
