EPM is supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organization in their search for their next leader in Value and Access to join their team. The Senior Director of Value & Access Strategy leads cross-functional efforts to develop and execute strategies that ensure patient access and payer coverage for pharmaceutical products across their entire lifecycle. This role oversees a team, manages gross-to-net performance, crafts payer messaging, and aligns internal stakeholders on pricing, distribution, and reimbursement strategies in a complex healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and integration of payer access strategies across product lifecycles, ensuring alignment with brand goals and market dynamics.
- Manage a team and allocate resources to support legacy brands, new launches, and pipeline initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to craft compelling payer value stories and secure approvals for marketing tactics and materials.
- Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and distribution channels to optimize patient access and brand performance.
- Contribute to financial forecasting, monitor ROI and formulary status, and stay current on policy and industry developments through external engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degrees are preferred.
- 12+ years in Pharma or payer industry with 7+ years in Market Access
- Proven ability to manage teams and influence across departments
- Deep knowledge of U.S. payer landscape, pricing, contracting, and reimbursement
- Experience in mental health, Neuroscience, or Huntington's disease
