Working with a highly innovative communications consultancy that combines primary market research and strategy to create data backed communications. The company is seeking a professional that has deep experience in linguistics, primary market research, and communications.
The Vice President plays a pivotal role within the consultancy of shaping messaging strategies for global clients, working with company leaders to manage client relationships, and guiding junior employees as they manage end-to-end market research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Strategic Research Initiatives: Lead end to end comprehensive behavioral, qualitative, and quantitative research to uncover insights about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and target audience behaviors. Translate findings into actionable strategies that inform messaging and positioning.
- Client Consultation & Messaging Strategy: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert guidance on language use, tone, and messaging tailored to specific audiences and regulatory environments. Provide strategic counsel that aligns with business goals and scientific integrity.
- Relationship Management & Strategic Leadership: Cultivate and strengthen client relationships by leading high-level strategic discussions, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring alignment between client needs and agency capabilities.
- New Business Development: Work with senior team leaders to identify opportunities and craft compelling proposals that showcase the agency's strategic value. Take part in developing and presenting pitches.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior employees and lead projects. Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring seamless execution for global clients.
- Agency Collaboration & Innovation: Partner with agency leadership to drive strategic initiatives, from message development to advisory services. Identify and champion ideas and industries that merit agency investment, and brainstorm pathways to bring them to life.
Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or research roles, with a strong emphasis on communication and audience engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and synthesize qualitative research, polling, and behavioral analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with a passion for language, tone, and word choice that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Experience advising clients at a senior level, using critical thinking and insight to influence decision-making and drive results.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across global teams and stakeholders.
- Pharmaceutical experience is a plus
