Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the sales of catalysts and process additives for industries including adhesives and sealants (CASE), oleochemicals, coatings, and plastics.
- Independent development of markets across Europe and Asia, driven by defined sales targets and growth strategies.
- Acquisition, strategic development, and long‑term retention of new customers, alongside management and expansion of existing accounts and globally supported key accounts.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for national and international customers.
- Close collaboration with R&D, production, and service teams to ensure smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction.
- Planning and execution of marketing activities, including participation in industry events and trade fairs.
- Conducting market, trend, and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and manage commercial risks.
- Strong results orientation - a hunter mindset is preferred over a purely relationship‑maintenance approach.
Your Profile
- Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline, or a comparable qualification.
- Solid experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within the CASE sector or related specialty chemicals markets.
- Proven success in international sales and business development.
- Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness.
- Fluent English required, German and additional Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin, Korean, Japanese etc) are a strong plus.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
- Entrepreneurial, self‑driven mindset with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Independent working style with a high level of customer focus and team orientation.
- Confident use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM tools.
