The company is an international specialty chemicals manufacturer focused on high‑performance additives and catalytic solutions for industrial markets. With a strong European base and global customer reach, it combines technical expertise, in‑house production, and close customer collaboration to deliver application‑driven, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the sales of catalysts and process additives for industries including adhesives and sealants (CASE), oleochemicals, coatings, and plastics.
  • Independent development of markets across Europe and Asia, driven by defined sales targets and growth strategies.
  • Acquisition, strategic development, and long‑term retention of new customers, alongside management and expansion of existing accounts and globally supported key accounts.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for national and international customers.
  • Close collaboration with R&D, production, and service teams to ensure smooth order processing and high customer satisfaction.
  • Planning and execution of marketing activities, including participation in industry events and trade fairs.
  • Conducting market, trend, and competitor analyses to identify opportunities and manage commercial risks.
  • Strong results orientation - a hunter mindset is preferred over a purely relationship‑maintenance approach.


Your Profile

  • Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical discipline, or a comparable qualification.
  • Solid experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within the CASE sector or related specialty chemicals markets.
  • Proven success in international sales and business development.
  • Strong technical understanding combined with commercial awareness.
  • Fluent English required, German and additional Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin, Korean, Japanese etc) are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
  • Entrepreneurial, self‑driven mindset with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Independent working style with a high level of customer focus and team orientation.
  • Confident use of ERP systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and CRM tools.
