Role Overview
The Oncology Sales Specialist drives sales of the company's Oncology products within an assigned territory, engaging healthcare professionals in a compliant and effective manner. This role involves delivering approved clinical and access information, building relationships with key stakeholders, and adapting strategies based on market dynamics. Collaboration with internal teams ensures coordinated efforts to support customer needs and optimize territory performance.
Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed sales goals within an assigned territory by promoting the company's Oncology therapeutic products in a compliant and appropriate manner.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute territory business strategies, driving pull-through sales within Integrated Delivery Networks.
- Conduct ongoing territory and market analysis to assess customer needs, preferences, and local market dynamics and trends.
- Identify and build relationships with prescribers and decision-makers by understanding territory-specific issues and opportunities.
- Deliver compliant messaging regarding clinical efficacy, safety, product access, and safe administration to relevant customer stakeholders.
- Monitor operating costs and ensure compliance with the territory budget.
- Proactively seek mentorship to develop and enhance key sales skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant specialty sales experience, preferably in device sales or a related therapeutic area (Oncology experience highly preferred).
- Proven success in managing and overseeing a sales portfolio within a territory.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt territory tactics in response to external trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Proven performance as a Specialist and fulfillment of defined promotion criteria.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $165,000 to $190,000- Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
