Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for responsible area, in line with regional and global objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with major stakeholders, including distributors, hospitals, orthopedic doctors, rheumatologist, general practitioners, chiropractors etc.
  • Manage, coach, and guide sales team on achieving objectives, using the right tools and personal development.
  • Manage, coach, and guide customer service and operations team.
  • Co-operate and communicate with the marketing team for product launch, promotions etc.
  • Analyze sales figures and market data regularly and communicate/react accordingly.
  • Forecast annual sales in line with national targets and formally communicate throughout the year on progress to achieving the goal.
  • Gather, manage and update relevant market and customer data to build up efficient sales organization.
  • Oversees and manages function's or department's career development, aligning it to business needs. Typically manages multiple layers of people managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Masters' degree in a relevant field of education.
  • Minimal 10 years of relevant experience, including supervisory or advisory experience.
  • Experience in Medical Device Industry (Orthotics or Prosthetics) is preferred.
  • Proficient in English, both written and oral.
  • Looking beyond existing methodologies to resolve complex issues often cross-functional in nature or with significant impact to the business.
  • Considering highly skilled and proficient in discipline. Able to guide (senior) professionals and managers.
  • Having a thorough understanding of the business, financials, products/services, and the capability needs of teams and departments.
  • Interacting across functions regularly.
  • Having the knowledge to influence best practices within discipline.
