Regional Business Director - Mid Atlantic (MD, PA, OH, DC, N. VA)
Responsibilities:
- Build and Lead High-Performing Teams: Recruit, develop, and manage a results-driven sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centric values.
- Drive Regional Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement regional business plans in collaboration with cross-functional partners, aligning resources and actions to meet strategic goals and exceed performance targets.
- Enhance Field Effectiveness: Provide coaching, performance management, and development plans to elevate team capabilities. Leverage tools, analytics, and CRM systems to optimize territory performance and customer engagement.
- Champion Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic connector between field teams and internal stakeholders across access, medical, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless execution and shared success.
- Lead with Insight and Integrity: Use data-driven insights to inform decisions, guide competitive strategy, and shape organizational growth. Promote a culture grounded in trust, compliance, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales leadership experience
- Hematology or oncology expeirence is required (rare disease is a +)
- Must cover or covered mid-Atlantic region
- Oncology Expertise: Minimum of 3 years in oncology, with a strong preference for experience in hematologic malignancies and established relationships with key stakeholders in the field.
- Launch & Leadership Experience: Proven success in building teams and commercial infrastructure to support product launches, particularly for injectable therapies.
- Strategic Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive results in competitive markets, with deep understanding of the sales cycle-from patient identification to access and distribution challenges.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working across commercial functions such as marketing, market access, training, and analytics to align on shared goals and deliver business impact.
