Manufacturing Engineer (Eng 1/2)

Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Engineer (Level 1-2), you will support the development, optimisation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, high quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role is ideal for early-career engineers with 1-3 years of experience or recent graduates with strong internship or co-op backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and process validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to resolve production issues.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, downtime, and yield.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Provide technical support for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (internships included).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytically and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
