Key Account Manager - Wales

As a Key Account Manager, you will be pivotal in executing strategic goals and driving the adoption of key pharmaceutical products across a defined geographical area. Your role will involve building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders in both primary and specialist care settings.

You will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and growth targets by focusing on strategic customer engagement and effective account and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer groups and opinion leaders in relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to share performance updates, resolve challenges, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Market Insight: Continuously monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.

What You'll Bring

  • ABPI qualification (preferred)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in specialist and secondary care
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in key account planning and performance monitoring
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospital sector, particularly in Infectious Diseases
  • Understanding of NHS decision-making processes and hospital market dynamics
  • Demonstrated success in Key Account Management within specialist care
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead, manage, and implement change effectively
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
