Our Client a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company is looking for a Key Account Manager

Tasks

  • Responsible for sales performance of assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare products across independent pharmacies, chains, and buying groups
  • Focus on New Business development in assigned region.
  • Assist BU Director on regular pricing Monitoring and reviews.
  • -level relationships with pharmacy chain headquarters and regional managers to improve business relationships.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in line with regional and EU commercial strategies.
  • Contribute to preparation of Annual Sales budget, Monthly Soles forecast and Quarterly LBEs & 5-year Strat plans.
  • Contribute to preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Retail Sales Demand Forecast via S&OP process Monthly monitoring of Sales performance against budget and forecast for retail business unit.
  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and in-store presence
  • Reviewing the daily sales report, customers order reports and preparing open order reports from SAP.
  • Manage strategic accounts and support customer retention and growth initiatives
  • Plan and prioritize sales activities using structured call planning and territory segmentation
  • Drive sustainable market share and business expansion across the assigned region.
  • Manage and optimize Rx, OTC, and consumer healthcare portfolios within key accounts
  • Track competitor activity, pricing, and retailer strategies for target markets.
  • Act as the central interface between key accounts and internal functions (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Medical, Market Access)
  • Demonstrated success in managing pharmacy chains, buying groups, and strategic retail partners.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reviews, and performance summaries for management
  • Provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and performance KPIs to identify growth opportunities
  • Act as a trusted commercial partner by understanding pharmacy needs, patient dynamics, and local market behavior

Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in EU Retail Pharmaceutical sales with a strong focus on Key Account Management
  • Strong understanding of EU pharmaceutical regulations, trade practices, and compliance frameworks
  • Good understanding and knowledgeable with retail generics.
  • Product launch execution and lifecycle management in retail environments
  • Trade terms, pricing frameworks, and promotional investment optimization
  • Proven ability to analyze sales reports and data. Experience with stock allocation. Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships with customers.
  • Full clean driving license. This is a field role.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong closing and value based selling capabilities
  • Demonstrated success in managing pharmacy chains, buying groups, and strategic retail partners
  • Degree in Business Administration and Life Sciences
