Location: Greater Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

A leading biopharmaceutical organization is seeking a Global Commercial Insights Manager to support the high-impact insights that inform brand strategy and key commercial decisions. This role will play a critical part in building a deep understanding of the market, customers, and competitive landscape through primary market research, secondary data analysis, and synthesis of internal knowledge. The individual will operate with a consulting-oriented mindset, translating ambiguous business questions into actionable insights, and partnering cross-functionally to support global product strategy, brand development, and key business milestones.


Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate insights from multiple sources, including primary market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data, to address key business questions
  • Design, plan, and execute qualitative and quantitative market research studies
  • Translate research findings into clear, actionable strategic and tactical recommendations
  • Synthesize complex and unstructured information into compelling insights and cohesive narratives
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support brand strategy, commercial planning, and decision-making
  • Develop clear and impactful presentations that communicate insights to a range of audiences, including senior leadership
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality, and business objectives are met
  • Identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy
  • Contribute to the evolution and strengthening of internal insights and analytics capabilities
  • Turn ambiguous business challenges into structured analyses and actionable deliverables
  • Collaborate across global teams to ensure alignment and consistency in insights generation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial/consumer insights, market research, analytics, or consulting within the pharmaceutical, biotech, CPG, or healthcare industry
  • Experience leading or supporting primary market research (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear insights
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical commercial landscape and drug development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and influence business decisions
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across functions such as Commercial, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
