The organisation are looking to expand their commercial team with a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager in Europe.
As Business Development, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. You'll identify, engage, and secure new clients while nurturing long-term relationships with existing partners. Your scientific understanding and commercial acumen will enable you to communicate complex solutions and tailor the offerings to client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust business development strategy across the European market.
- Identify and approach potential clients in the biotech and pharma sectors.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers and KOLs.
- Promote our full suite of drug discovery services.
- Attend conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
- Collaborate closely with scientific and project management teams to deliver proposals and close deals.
- Maintain a CRM and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field (PhD is a plus).
- Proven track record (3-7+ years) in BD or sales within a CRO Drug Discovery background.
- Strong network in biotech/pharma across Europe.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to work autonomously.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Based in Europe, with Flexibility to travel
