Sales Manager EMEA - Personal Care Chemicals

Permanent Position, Full-Time · Hamburg, Germany

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and commercial support to our customers.
  • Manage sales activities and take responsibility for defined regional markets.
  • Support, develop, and expand relationships with distributors and direct customers, including the acquisition of new clients.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct customer visits, technical workshops, and attend trade fairs and industry events.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM system and prepare sales forecasts.
  • Document all sales activities and outcomes.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as back office, marketing, and technical support.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30-50%.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in a scientific field or cosmetic science (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD), or experience as a formulator in the cosmetics industry, or a business degree combined with solid experience in technical sales of cosmetic raw materials and strong chemistry knowledge.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally within a B2B setting.
  • Excellent German and English skills; Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license.
