About Our Client:
Our client is a globally backed science‑driven ingredients company headquartered in Singapore focused on the development and commercialization of proprietary, fermentation‑derived bioactives for personal care applications. Operating with a strong emphasis on efficacy, safety, and international compliance, the company is progressing its first commercially available ingredient through selective global partnerships while advancing additional novel peptide‑based technologies in its R&D pipeline to support future portfolio expansion across multiple skin and scalp care use cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow technical sales with distributors, brands, and formulation teams across assigned markets
- Present ingredient value propositions through clear technical and application discussions
- Own the commercial process from initial engagement through sampling and deal closure
- Support and strengthen partner relationships through joint planning and market activities
- Represent the company at selected industry meetings and events
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles within personal care ingredients
- Strong scientific background with practical exposure to cosmetic actives and formulations
- Experience managing distributors or key accounts independently with proven results
- Self-directed, adaptable, and motivated by building growth in a lean, evolving environment
- Experience from MNC biochemicals, top‑tier personal care, or leading biotech
- Confident working in English‑led global meetings
- Bilingual
- Candidate should ideally be based in China
