Overview:
My client, a leader in life science, is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join their team as a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will have proven experience in sales or business development within the life science or diagnostics sector with expertise specifically focused on next-generation sequencing (NGS) or molecular biology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for expanding our market share of products
- Build strong relationships with customers, identify new opportunities, negotiate contracts and close deals
- Conduct extensive research into target markets and competitor analysis
- Provide regular feedback to senior management regarding progress towards revenue targets
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- 3+ years sales or business development experience in the life science market
- Achieved a bachelors degree (minimum) in molecular biology or science related topic
- Proven ability developing strategies that drive growth through analysing complex data sets from multiple sources using advanced analytical tools
- Fluent in German and English
