A global biopharma organization is seeking a Global Oncology Forecasting Lead to drive forecasting strategy for oncology pipeline assets and support critical business decisions across a high-growth portfolio. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to commercial leadership, translating complex analytics into actionable insights that inform development, commercialization, and portfolio planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead forecasting activities for oncology pipeline assets across multiple indications and geographies.
- Develop cross-brand portfolio insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Guide and mentor forecasting professionals while driving forecasting best practices, consistency, and quality across brands.
- Build and refine patient-based and revenue forecasting models, including scenario planning, analog forecasting, and uncertainty analyses.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and business implications.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Manufacturing, Pricing, and R&D teams.
- Drive process improvements, forecasting innovation, and adoption of advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology forecasting, analytics, market research, or related functions.
- Prior oncology forecasting experience required.
- Strong expertise in patient-based forecasting, market modeling, competitive assessments, and launch planning.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical datasets and analytics platforms such as IQVIA, Symphony Health, Flatiron, Optum, EMR, and claims-based data sources.
- Advanced quantitative skills, including predictive modeling, simulation techniques, regression analysis, and trend forecasting.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and communicate complex insights to executive audiences.
- Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
