Team Lead Visual Inspection - Switzerland

On behalf of our client, we are currently supporting the search for a Team Lead within Visual Inspection. In this position, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a team while ensuring the reliable execution of daily production activities. Acting as a key interface between operational teams and leadership functions, the role contributes to stable performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Close collaboration with peer team leads is part of the role to support efficiency and consistent ways of working. In addition, you will play an active role in coaching, training, and developing employees, while contributing your experience to the evolution of team structures and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting team members in daily operations
  • Prioritizing activities and coordinating resources to meet production timelines
  • Supporting deviation investigations and improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and GMP requirements
  • Identifying, assessing, and supporting the resolution of deviations
  • Participating in audits, inspections, and site visits
  • Performing Visual Inspection activities in the Drug Product area according to cGMP guidelines
  • Providing technical and procedural support in close collaboration with manufacturing teams
  • Conducting Visual Inspection training and supporting onboarding of new team members

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a production environment, ideally with shift-leading or coordination responsibilities
  • Completed education or training in chemistry, biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology, biology, biochemical engineering, or a related discipline
  • A structured and independent working style, combined with flexibility and resilience
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, collaboration, and solution-oriented thinking
  • Practical knowledge of Visual Inspection processes
  • Experience coordinating workflows and resources
  • Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift model
