AI Engineer
We are currently working with a leading diagnostics company looking for a skilled AI Engineer to join their team in Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building a new AI capability within a business undergoing a major transformation towards predictive, data-driven decision-making.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and deploying AI agents and multi-agent systems for scientific and quality-driven use cases
- Building end-to-end AI solutions (from problem definition through to production deployment)
- Developing tools for data automation, document processing, and decision support
- Improving workflows through earlier detection of risks and intervention points
- Ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and production-ready in real-world environments Collaborating with senior stakeholders to translate business problems into deployable AI systems
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI / GenAI systems
- Strong hands-on experience with modern large language models (e.g. Claude or similar) in real-world applications
- Experience developing AI agents and multi-agent / orchestrated AI systems is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end solutions (concept to production)
- Strong Python / engineering background, ideally with experience in data pipelines or enterprise systems
- Ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with evolving structure
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. diagnostics, pharma, medtech) is a plus
- Exposure to scientific or manufacturing workflows is beneficial
