A small medical communications agency is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President, Medical Strategy to join their leadership team. With over 10 years of agency experience, you will play a critical role in shaping medical communications strategy with your clients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality promotional medical educational content.You will work across various therapeutic areas and accounts, and have a hand in content development as well as being the strategy lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the development of promotional medical education materials across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Lead and mentor junior team members and freelancers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management and creative, to ensure alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, offering scientific expertise and strategic insights.
• Ensure all content is scientifically accurate, engaging, and compliant with industry standards and guidelines.
• Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in medical communications, with a strong background in promotional medical education.
• Advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, MD, or PharmD) required.
• USA based
