EPM Scientific is working with a global medical device company specialising in innovative solutions for interventional cardiology. The organisation develops and manufactures advanced technologies designed to improve outcomes in percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).

Following a strategic shift from a distributor-led model to a direct commercial presence across key international markets, the company is now expanding its European footprint. This creates a unique opportunity to join at a pivotal stage and play a key role in building long-term market presence.


Role Overview

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive commercial growth across East Germany. This role combines hands-on sales execution with strategic account development, working closely with clinical stakeholders in cardiology settings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding business within existing accounts and opening new interventional centres
  • Develop and execute territory strategies aligned with broader commercial objectives
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders, including interventional cardiologists, nurses, and hospital decision-makers
  • Manage tenders, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
  • Utilise CRM tools to track activity, manage pipeline, and optimise performance
  • Analyse territory performance and adjust strategy based on market dynamics
  • Provide clinical and product support to healthcare professionals to ensure effective adoption
  • Represent the company at congresses, events, and industry meetings
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and commercial teams

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE: Strong commercial experience specifically within coronary medical devices (PCI-related products essential)
  • Proven track record of new business acquisition and account growth
  • Deep understanding of interventional cardiology procedures and cath lab environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a "hunter" approach to sales
  • Experience using CRM tools and data to drive performance
  • Fluent German required; English is an advantage
