Supplier Quality Engineer
We are currently partnering with a leading MedTech company looking to hire an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team in Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a long‑term career with an innovative medical equipment manufacturer.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing the supplier quality assurance process to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, MDR, and internal quality standards.
- Qualifying, auditing, and continuously evaluating suppliers, including conducting on‑site supplier audits.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve quality issues, deviations, and nonconformities.
- Leading supplier‑related CAPAs and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensuring incoming materials and components meet established quality and regulatory requirements.
- Supporting risk management activities, including supplier risk assessment and mitigation.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinating supplier‑related documentation, including specifications, quality agreements, and technical files.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Completed technical degree or equivalent professional experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in supplier quality within MedTech and medical devices.
- Strong understanding of ISO 13485, MDR, and risk management processes.
- Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier development initiatives.
- Very good German skills (spoken and written).
- Very good English skills (spoken and written).
- Confident handling of MS Office and standard QM tools; experience with QMS software is an advantage.
