Supplier Quality Engineer

We are currently partnering with a leading MedTech company looking to hire an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team in Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a long‑term career with an innovative medical equipment manufacturer.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing the supplier quality assurance process to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, MDR, and internal quality standards.
  • Qualifying, auditing, and continuously evaluating suppliers, including conducting on‑site supplier audits.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve quality issues, deviations, and nonconformities.
  • Leading supplier‑related CAPAs and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensuring incoming materials and components meet established quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting risk management activities, including supplier risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Coordinating supplier‑related documentation, including specifications, quality agreements, and technical files.

An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Completed technical degree or equivalent professional experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in supplier quality within MedTech and medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, MDR, and risk management processes.
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier development initiatives.
  • Very good German skills (spoken and written).
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written).
  • Confident handling of MS Office and standard QM tools; experience with QMS software is an advantage.
