Service Engineer - Chromatography (GC / HPLC)

We are working with an innovative and growing technology company specialising in gas generation systems for analytical laboratories. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Service Engineer to support customers across the region.

The role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas generators used alongside GC-MS and HPLC systems, working closely with laboratory and technical teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing, and repair of gas generation systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
• Support customers using GC-MS and HPLC instrumentation
• Perform preventative maintenance and technical support activities
• Deliver a high level of service to laboratory customers

What they're looking for

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in a service engineering or similar role
• Strong background in electronics and mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience with GC, GC-MS, HPLC or related chromatography systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Based within reach of the Chicago / Milwaukee area
