Service Engineer - Chromatography (GC / HPLC)

We are working with an innovative and growing technology company specialising in gas generation systems for analytical laboratories. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to hire a Service Engineer to support customers across the region.
The role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas generators used alongside GC-MS and HPLC systems, working closely with laboratory and technical teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation, servicing, and repair of gas generation systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
- Support customers using GC-MS and HPLC instrumentation
- Perform preventative maintenance and technical support activities
- Deliver a high level of service to laboratory customers
What they're looking for
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a service engineering or similar role
- Strong background in electronics and mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with GC, GC-MS, HPLC or related chromatography systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Based within reach of the Chicago / Milwaukee area
