Strategic Clinical Services Manager - Clinical Trial Supply (CTS)

Overview
A global pharmaceutical services organisation is seeking a Strategic Clinical Services Manager to support the growth and development of its Clinical Trial Supply (CTS) offering. With a strong international presence, the company partners with biotech and pharmaceutical clients to deliver clinical supply and early access solutions across global markets.
This is a commercially focused, client-facing role working closely with key accounts and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored clinical service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with key pharmaceutical and biotech clients
- Act as a primary point of contact for clinical services opportunities and ongoing account support
- Collaborate with commercial teams to identify and grow strategic accounts
- Lead client discussions to understand requirements and shape tailored solutions
- Manage and track opportunity pipelines, ensuring visibility on progress, risks, and next steps
- Coordinate cross-functional input from operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and legal teams
- Support smooth handover of awarded projects to delivery teams
- Maintain accurate documentation across proposals, contracts, and project updates
- Monitor project progress and financial tracking in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Identify risks and escalate appropriately to senior leadership
- Contribute to reporting, pipeline reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
Proposal & Commercial Activities
- Lead coordination and preparation of RFIs and RFQs
- Draft proposals, quotations, and Statements of Work (SoW)
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (GMP / non-GMP) and company capabilities
- Support pricing strategy by consolidating internal cost inputs
- Assist with contract development including MSAs, QTAs, and change orders
Your Profile
- Experience within pharma, CRO, or CMO environments
- Strong background in clinical trial supply / clinical services
- Proven experience in client-facing or account management roles
- Commercially driven, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel as required
