Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oncology Consultant to join our team in support of therapies indicated for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in patients with specific molecular mutations. This role is ideal for a seasoned oncology professional who thrives in complex, science-driven environments and values long-term partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed sales goals and performance targets within an assigned territory
  • Develop and execute thoughtful territory and account business plans aligned with brand strategy
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across all assigned accounts
  • Deliver scientific, clinical, and product education in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner
  • Engage in fair-balanced, high-quality clinical dialogue using approved promotional and educational resources
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, customer-relevant discussions
  • Collaborate effectively within a matrixed commercial organization, including nursing partners and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including co-promotion partners, when applicable
  • Monitor territory expenses in alignment with budget guidelines
  • Represent the organization professionally at meetings, conferences, and other company-sponsored events
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing promotional activities
  • Support product launches, lifecycle initiatives, and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by commercial leadership

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; scientific or advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated success in biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or medical device sales
  • Proven track record of consistent top-tier sales performance
  • Experience in complex, consultative sales environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and credibly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior hematology or oncology sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting products in acute leukemias or other specialized oncology indications
  • Exposure to new product launches or early commercialization environments
  • Familiarity with academic and community oncology stakeholders

Travel & Location

  • Remote-based role with a defined geographic territory
  • Candidates must reside within the territory
  • Expected travel averages ~60%, with variability based on geography
  • Occasional weekend travel may be required
